Meet UEW Student who made Stonebwoy and His Mother Golden Statues


In recent days a portraiture or a statue of Livingstone Etse Setekle Stonebwoy has made lot of wave on social media.
As pictures and videos of a gentle man was seen modeling the Bhim nation landlord.

UEW Student makes the University proud when the dancehall sensation and multiple award winning musician Stonebwoy showcasing or showing off a golden statue made by him on all social media platforms on Sunday, May 10th as this wonderful and special day has been set aside to celebrate mothers all over the world for their great contribution towards caring children and building the family,

Stonebwoy the Sobolo hit maker is a house hold name all over the African music industry and the world at large. The international heavy wait musician and the multiple award winning artiste can boast of lots of accolades.Including BET Award to his credit.
Lots of people have questioned whom the young man is. As his work is an exact replica of the dancehall god and his lost beloved mother, Madam Catherine Satekla.

Victor kuutuome is his name, and he's affectionately called Obama or the clay Doctor in art circles. He was born in the early nineties. He was born in winneba to Mr. and Mrs. Kuutuome , He is from upper western region of ghana Nandom to be precise ( Wa ) he speaks dagaree, Fante, Twi and English.

In an up close with Obama the clay doctor he revealed to our team the following:

He had his basic  school education at university practice primary school, winneba and completed in 2006, He moved on to  T. I. Ahmadiyya secondary school also in central region of Ghana to attain secondary education ,there he did visual arts  and completed in 2009 , He continued his artistic development at ikeas advertising where he worked as an apprentice from 2009 to 2017.

He then gained admission to  university of education winneba, where he is currently offering B.A. in art education and he specializes in sculpture and graphic design.

When he was ask about what inspires him as an artist, he had the following to say: �First of all I am inspired by my sculptural lecturers at the art department of the university of education uew :
Madam Sosu, Mr. Kpodo, Mr opoku Mensah and the CEO of Tkm sculptures  Dr. Theophilus Mensah who i currently works with as an apprentice Forman.

Dr. T.K Mensah is like a father to me he has mentored me and taught me a lot about sculpture. He is my mentor, my director, my dream, my strength and his encouragements inspire me to aim at higher heights.
