Agboni Nicholas Kelvin files nomination to contest for SO-GNAT Secretary position


A former National Secretary of the Teacher Trainees’ Association of Ghana (TTAG)  Agboni Nicholas Kelvin has filed nomination to contest Sogakofe Local Secretary of Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) within the South Tongu District of the Volta region.

Mr. Agboni who served as the National President of the National Union of Tongu Students and Associates (NUTSA) from 2017 to 2019 is poised to serve the teachers front so as to bring on board his expertise to help address some challenges confronting teachers.

 
Agboni Nicholas Kelvin filed his nomination after the South Tongu District Branch of the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) opened nomination for Local level positions in GNAT.

In a brief interview with Mr. Agboni after he filed the nomination to the Sogakope GNAT Elections Committee, he said, he believes in transformational and life changing leadership, a leadership that affect its membership positively and not seeking for personal interest.

“It’s my plan to provide innovative technology, maintain effective records and administration, by providing prompt and efficient services to the membership of SO-GNAT” He said.

The completed nomination form was received by Mr. Ernest Siameh, a member of the Sogakope GNAT Elections Committee.

The Sogakofe GNAT local has scheduled 18th February, 2021 for its conference at the Sogakope Presbyterian Church of Ghana.
