Facts about Onward Raingard.

Born James Mawutor, with stage name Raingad Onward, is an ewe who grew up on the borders of Aflao. At a very tender age, Onward as he prefers to be called because of his optimistic or progressive mindset discovered his musical prowess. 

Before Junior High School, Onward Raingad joined bands to perform. He actively involved himself in music during his high school years at St. Paul's Senior High. James Mawutor has traveled and lived in Accra, Kumasi, Takoradi, Cape coast, Tema and Bibiani but chose to represent Aflao when he professionally began music in 2016.

According to this vested talent, he chose to represent Aflao because had lived most of his life there. In 2016, when he had kick started as a professional artitse, Raingad Onward released his first solo track dubbed, Never Give Up after which followed So High and Daavi.

Halting for a while, he came back stronger with great bangers and soothing tunes in the years 2017, late 2018 and 2019, talk of Angelina(under a record label called the Euro Tec Music), Total Vexing and Hold Your Baby.

His track, Junction, released in 2018 gave him the spotlight. Junction was endorsed by media personalities, Andy Dosty and DJ Dynamq. Junction remained on the Voice of America playlist for two years since its release and also gained him recognition from the legendary American band called the Big Mountain. Again, in 2018 he released a soul soothing tune titled Invitacion(invitation) featuring a Chilean artiste called Balaguero.

Raingad Onward is working tirelessly to deliver exceptionally to his audience this year. He has promised his fans one feature track for the year and a four track EP.
