Volta: Man Cʋts off H£AD of 12-year-old at Mafi Dove

A young man is in the hands of the Police of Battor Aveyime Command for allegedly beheading a 12-year-old boy at Mafi-Dove in the Volta Region of Ghana.

The suspect, a 25-year-old guy says he chopped off the head of the young boy for ritual purposes.

According to residents of the town, they said, this sad incident took place on Sunday evening after a drumming and dancing competition to cap off the funeral of one of their own.

Blood traces on the floor alarmed the residents to trace it, after a thoroughly search it leads them to a prayer camp of a prophetess.

They broke into the structure and only to find the suspect with a human head.

Shocked at what they saw, they screamed which attracted other town folks to join them to interrogate the suspect.

He confessed to them that the prophetess, Floda Ekpe asked her to provide her with a human head for some rituals.

The suspect is currently is in Police custody as investigation into the issue continues.
