Anloga: Police arrest fisherman for murder.

The Police of Anloga have arrested a 27-year-old fisherman for stabbing a 71-year-old man to death at Atito in the Anloga District of the Volta Region.
According to sources, the police of Alakple Police Station had a report On 15/09/2021 about the sad incident and effect an arrest of one Yao Senya who has allegedly stabbed one Dumega Heletsi Akpakudzo 71, to death.
Preliminary investigation indicate that two sons of both the deceased and suspect engaged in a fight, which made the Dumega beat up Yao’s son.
In retaliation, Yao pulled out a knife and inflicted multiple wounds on the chest, neck and shoulder of Dumega Heletsi where he was rushed to the Keta Municipal Hospital for treatment but was pronounced dead on arrival.
Suspect Yao Senya has been arrested and remanded in the police custody to assist the police in investigation.
