Accra: FINAL YEAR STUDENT OF VALLEY VIEW UNIVERSITY ALLEGEDLY COMMITS SUICIDE.

A Final Year Student in Valley View University -Accra has allegedly committed suicide after efforts to get authorities to mount his trailed courses for a rewrite had proven futile 

Speaking to a close source of the deceased, he narrated the ordeal, Peniel Dennis Ojuka, level 400 Development Studies went through in an attempt to get his trailed courses mounted for a rewrite and graduate with his mates this year. 

He disclosed to Hello News that, the deceased was mostly seen at his department begging for his trailed courses to be mounted and later hinted him and other closed friends about his suicidal thoughts due to the frustrations he was going through for being ignored 

“In the early hours of Wednesday, December 1, 2021. Peniel was found unconscious in his room at J. J. Nortey Hall and was rushed to the hospital where his death was confirmed, It is suspected he took a substance that led to his untimely death” He said.

Meanwhile the School has issued a statement about the death of 24 year old, Peniel Dennis Ojuka, sending their condolences to the family of the deceased and also entreating his roommates and close friends to seek counseling services at the school for the needed support.
