Zebilla: Dead body of Young Lady found.

Residents of Zebilla are struggling to come to terms with the news of the sudden demise of Eunice Anaane, 27.

Eunice, until her untimely death, owned and operated a drinking spot around a Customs Excise and Preventive Service (CEPS) barrier in Zebilla.

She died at the residence of her boyfriend, Jafaru Ganimu, 25, an unemployed graduate. 

The two were believed to be in a love relationship and were last spotted together on Wednesday 27th April, 2022, at about 10:00 pm at the deceased's residence near the Confidential Hotel in Zebilla.

Even though an autopsy is yet to be carried out, some residents are of the view that the deceased bar operator was purposely camped to death as they alleged that her neck was broken in what appears to be a struggle.

Police sources say the suspect (Ganimu) turned himself in and was arrested on Thursday and processed for court. He has since been remanded in police custody awaiting the commencement of trial.

Some friends and family members of the deceased who spoke to Zebs FM are livid, shocked and fear-stricken at the development.

The incident has become the talk of town with many calling for justice for Eunice.
