Krachi West: Gyanekrom enstools new Chief.

Residents of Gyanekrom in the Krachi West Municipality of the Oti Region have enstoooled 45 year old teacher,Mr. Gyane Williams as the Adontehene of keanan Traditional Area.

The Enstoolment of Mr. Gyane Williams as a Chief comes after the demise of Nana Kyi.

In a colourful ceremony to enstoool Mr. Gyane Williams now Nana Gyane ll saw the display of the rich culture of the people and also attendance of Chiefs from the various tribes.

The Coronation saw many chiefs and elders from various groups of people, including the Chief Iman of kotokoli Zongo,the Chief of Konkomba community and the chief of Chokosi and many others .

Before his Enstoolment as the Adontehene, Mr. Gyane Williams serves as a teacher at Obredjour M. A JHS in the Krachi West Municipality of the Oti region.

After the Coronation,Nana Gyane ll promised to abide by the rules and regulations and also  protect the tradition of the people of Gyanekrom.

He has therefore plead on the community to support him as their new chief and will be ready to serve his people to the fullest.
