Charles Okafor was born on July 23, 1970 he is from Umuleri, Anambra state South Eastern Nigeria, born in Ajegunle in Lagos had his  primary education before proceeding to St. Gregory College in Ikoyi,
 He is an actor and director, known for Computer Girls (2003), Sting (2006) and Ocean Deep 

Charles Izuchukwu Okafor has earned his place as a veteran in Nollywood.  Before his 1996 role in Domitilla that shot him into limelight, Okafor had become a  household name on Network TV Soap Opera titled Memorial Hospital where he played Dr. Seun Peters. Over the past two decades, he has acted in over 300 movies. Though he hasn’t been more visible in Nollywood lately, Okafor is still relevant in advocacy for international organisations and still in the art of  filmmaking.

Charles grew up in a family of six children, and his parents were both farmers. As a child, Charles was a gifted student and was known for his passion for the arts.

Charles Okafor attended St. Joseph’s College, Vom, Plateau State, Nigeria, for his secondary education, where he excelled in academics and sports.
