Newbies Thunder Ladies champions of Volta Regional Women's Division One League.

LUTA Thunder Ladies have been crowned champions of Volta Regional Women's Division One League after defeating Ketu Ladies in their finals game at Sogakofe Sports Stadium. 

The newcomers thrashed Ketu Ladies 12-0 to bagged the accolade with undefeated run throughout the campaign.

Thunder Ladies showcased their goal scoring prowess and their anger for success brushing aside the Regions female heavyweight Anlo Ladies 2-1 to chalked this laudable feat.

The competition was hugely represented by clubs like ANLO Ladies FC AGAVE LADIES FOOTBALL CLUB Ketu Ladies and the reigning champions Luta Thunder Ladies. 

Its was a delightful and eye brimming football occasion that the entire Volta Region ecosystem embraced and even looking forward for another exciting campaign next season.

As a result, Luta Thunder Ladies will now represent the region at the upcoming Zonal Championship dated for June at the WAFA Park, with a dream of making it into the Women’s Premier League.
