Central Tongu MP and DCE Support Adidome Unity Stars with donations

The Member of Parliament for Central Tongu, Hon. Alexander Hottordze, and the District Chief Executive, Hon. Addison Dodzi Mornyuie, have donated branded jerseys, 24 sets of players' outfits, 24 sets of jerseys, and four footballs to the Adidome Unity Stars in Adidome. The donation aims to support the team's development and participation in the league.

During the presentation, the District Chief Executive emphasized the need for more second-division clubs in the district to enhance sports development. He urged clubs not to sell their division two slots to other districts, stressing the importance of retaining and nurturing local talent.

The MP encouraged players to remain disciplined and focused on developing their talents to represent the district positively. He offered to support the team in various ways and expressed his desire to see some players excel to the point of playing for international clubs. Both the MP and DCE promised to provide GH₵ 10,000 to help the club start the league on a strong note and pledged to attend some of their matches to show support.

The Chairman of Adidome Unity Stars, Mr. Atsu Kuadey, expressed gratitude for the donation, noting that it would significantly aid the club in managing the league. He also requested that the district develop a standard playing field to accommodate larger league matches and promote sports development in the area.
