CHIEF OF ADIDOME MEETS VOLTA REGIONAL MINISTER TO DISCUSS DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS

On Tuesday, August 26, 2025, Togbe Kwasinyi Agyeman V, Chief of Adidome and Head Chief of all Tovie Settlements in Mafi Traditional Area, paid a courtesy visit to the Volta Regional Minister, Honourable James Gunu, at his residence in Ho. The chief was accompanied by his elders.

During the meeting, Togbe Kwasinyi Agyeman V congratulated Honourable Gunu on his appointment as Volta Regional Minister, attributing his success to his dedication and contributions to the National Democratic Congress. The chief emphasized the importance of peace in the community, stating that "if there is peace in the community, a chief does not carry a shield."

The chief and his elders discussed several development projects with the minister, including:

- Fencing the District Government Hospital to prevent encroachment

- Face-lifting the Adidome Market, including fencing and building storage structures

- Supplying vehicles to the Adidome Police District and station commands

- Expanding and stocking the MTN ICT Centre

Honourable Gunu pledged to consider the requests seriously and take action within the shortest possible time.
