Dzogbefa & Volta Creative Arts Foundation Presents: Stress Free Period

To empower young girls and promote menstrual health, Dzogbefa, in collaboration with the Volta Creative Arts Foundation, is rolling out an inspiring initiative dubbed “Stress Free Period.”
The program features a Workshop on Sewing Reusable Menstrual Pads scheduled for 18th September 2025 at Ave Dakpa, where participants will gain practical skills in making sustainable menstrual products.
Ahead of this, the team will distribute reusable menstrual pads across schools in the Volta Region to ensure girls have access to safe and eco-friendly menstrual care. Distribution dates and venues include:
17th Sept 2025: Hohoe Junior High School & Adaklu Senior High School
18th Sept 2025: Ave Dakpa Senior High School
19th Sept 2025: Somey Senior High School, Afife Senior High School, Keta Senior High School & Anlo Secondary School
This impactful project not only supports menstrual hygiene but also fosters confidence and equal opportunities for young girls in education.
