Dambai: Early Grade Students Association marks first anniversary with Campus clean-up exercise

As part of activities to commemorate its first anniversary, the Early Grade Students Association (EGSA) of Dambai College of Education organized a campus clean-up exercise, reinforcing the age-old adage that “cleanliness is next to godliness” and the belief that “a sound mind lives in a healthy body.”
The initiative, led by students of the Early Grade Department, was aimed at promoting hygiene, discipline, and a healthy learning environment within the college. Participants devoted their time and energy to clearing, sweeping, and tidying up sections of the campus, ensuring the premises reflected both beauty and cleanliness.
According to the organizers, the exercise was not only a symbolic act of service but also a way of instilling the values of responsibility and communal living among members of the association.

> “On the whole, the exercise went on successfully, and we extend our heartfelt appreciation to all who availed themselves and contributed to the activity,” the leadership of EGSA stated.
The clean-up formed part of a weeklong program lined up to mark the association’s first anniversary, which will be climaxed this weekend with a dinner, movie night, and a handover ceremony at the college premises.
The anniversary celebrations highlight the milestones of EGSA in its first year of existence, reflecting on its contributions to student life while charting a path for greater impact in the years ahead.
