
Jagrido D/A Primary School commences operations in Abunyanya Electoral Area.

The Jagrido Community School, a long-awaited project, has finally become a reality. Following the campaign promises made during the Assembly elections, the school has officially commenced operations. The Ghana Education Service has absorbed the school and posted a dedicated teacher to nurture the young minds, supported by a community volunteer.
The establishment of the school demonstrates Hon. Alhassan Abubakari's commitment to providing access to quality education for the Jagrido community. He expressed gratitude to the Ghana Education Service for their support and collaboration in making this project a success.
Notably, the District Chief Executive, Hon. Kudjo Dordoe Issiah, and the Member of Parliament, Hon. John Kwabena Oti Bless, have promised to build a 3-unit classroom block for Jagrido in 2026. This project has been captured in the approved 2026 budget, further underscoring the dedication to enhancing the educational experience for the children in the community.
