Volta Regional Minister receives GH₵150,000 chair donation from Miniplast Ghana Ltd.

The Volta Region has received a major boost as the Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu, on Monday gratefully accepted a generous donation of 1,000 plastic chairs valued at GH₵150,000 from Miniplast Ghana Ltd.
The items were presented by Mr. Felix Kormla Fansey, Corporate Sales Coordinator of Miniplast, who reaffirmed the company’s commitment to supporting development initiatives in the region. He further revealed Miniplast’s intention to establish a plastic recycling plant in the Volta Region—an initiative that promises to advance job creation, environmental sustainability, and industrial growth.
Hon. Gunu also acknowledged the instrumental role of Mr. Dela Gadzanku, AGI Chairman for Volta, Eastern, and Oti. Mr. Gadzanku led the delegation and played a crucial part in facilitating the donation, continuing his strong advocacy for the region’s progress.
According to the Minister, the chairs will significantly enhance community engagements, public meetings, and regional outreach activities. He expressed excitement about Miniplast’s interest in expanding into the Volta Region, noting that such an investment will open new employment avenues for the youth while contributing to the broader economic transformation agenda.
Hon. Gunu extended heartfelt appreciation on behalf of the people of the Volta Region, describing the partnership with Miniplast as a reaffirmation of the confidence in the region’s development efforts. He looked forward to deeper collaborations that will further enhance growth and improve livelihoods.
