INFORMATION MINISTER ASKS MEDIA TO INTENCIFY EDUCATION ON COVID-19.

Minister for Information, Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has charged the media in the country to intensity education on the COVID-19 to prevent the country risking to experience a third wave of the pandemic.
He said the media is the fourth estate of the realm because of the important role they play, therefore, when given the chance at any point in time, they should remind the citizens to observe the COVID-19 etiquette in order to bring the impact of the pandemic under control.
He added that what is happening in India currently is not a child’s play and Ghana might not survive it if they let their guard down.
Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah made this remarks when he interacted with the media in the Upper East Region as part of his three day tour of the five Regions of the North.
In his welcome address, the Upper East Regional Minister, Hon. Stephen Yakubu appealed to the media to sell the region positively through their reportage in order to attract investors into the region.
