2021 BECE results likely to be heartbreaking ~ Joel Degue.

Educationist, Tourism and Geography Consultant, Mr Degue Joel has advised parents to be up and doing in the life of their wards especially the BECE candidates.
He said, the good performance of the students in the exams depends on both the parents and teachers largely and if care is not taken the results will be unpleasant and heartbreaking.
He made this known in a post on his timeline. Below is the post.
"BECE 2021 EXAMINATION RESULTS: A LIKELY UNPLEASANT PERFORMANCE ABOUT TO REPEAT ITSELF IF NOTHING IS DONE TO PREVENT IT."

Our common house is, indeed on fire! There is therefore, the clarion call to rise and quench this fire together.

For the past 12 years (since 2009), I've been following and analysing the BECE results and the quality of the performance.

It's not been a pleasant thing to rejoice over. But this fact remains: not much has changed and not much has been done to improve this perennial negative situation.

Results over the years have been very poor, very low and in some case very abysmal with some schools scoring zero percent.

Some private schools have been doing very well while most of the public schools have been doing very poorly. This also leaves much to think about and find out reasons why it's so.

MY DESIRE ALL THESE YEARS:

I can't sleep these days because of some burden and heaviness in my heart regarding this: The quality of the results of BECE all these years, more especially the one ahead of us, BECE 2021. We have to find a well planned thought out solution. Together, we can!

Are you a traditional leader, an MP, an M/DCE, an Education Director, PTA Executive, SMC Executive, Local Association/Union Executive member, opinion leader, Premix Committee Executive member, NGO, philanthropist, individual, resident abroad, etc, interested in the improving of school performance in BECE, then come onboard.
We can do it together. This fight is a multi stakeholder, multidimensional, multipronged approach solution.

It's indeed worthy to note that a group, Anlo Youth Council (AYC) has planned an initiative for Anlo schools to be rolled out soon. What can other youth groups and and associations do to help.

A clarion call is being made to all and sundry to rally around and mobilise the necessary financial, material, human and moral logistics to make this call a worthy one.

Let's together discuss the way forward on 0242501638.

Thanks.
