E/R : Man 45, commits Suicide.

Reports reaching our News desk indicates that, a 45 year old man named as Mr. Donkor popularly known as " Odo " has hanged himself.

The sad incident happened yesterday around 5:30 - 6:30pm at Tinkong in the Akuapem North District of Eastern Region.

According to the Assembly member for Tinkong Electoral Area , stated yesterday he had a call indicating the victim Mr. Donkor has hanged himself in the nearby bush at Tinkong.

" I gathered some men and we went and saw me Mr. Donkor hanged on a orange tree " he stated.

He added , they informed Tinkong police on what has happened and they came to the scene and took the body to Tinkong Government Hospital for perservation and autopsy.

The cause of his death is not yet known , but in info garthered indicated he was sick for sometime now but has recovered.

The deceased left behind a wife and five children.

Investigations is underway by Tinkong Police to find the actual cause of his death.
