Coachella: Kanye West Demands Singer Billie Eilish Apologises To Travis Scott
Saturday, February 12, 2022
American rapper, Kanye West has demanded that 20-year-old singer, Billie Eilish apologises to rapper Travis Scott before he performs at this year’s Coachella music festival.
Both West and Eilish are headliners for the festival.
The drama had started last week during Eilish’s show in Atlanta when she stopped her show to ensure a fan sitting in the front row was okay, as they were having difficulty breathing.
At the show, Eilish said, "I wait for people to be okay before I keep going."
Her comments were a direct hit at West’s In-law’s boyfriend, Travis Scott and the tragedy at Astroworld last year, where some people were killed and others injured during a crowd surge, while he performed.
Defending Travis, West said, “Trav didn't have any idea of what was happening when he was on stage and was very hurt by what happened… now I need Billie to apologize before I perform."
Eilish has since responded but not in form of an apology.
In an update, TMZ revealed that she said, “Literally never said a thing about Travis. was just helping a fan."
