Oti: GEC Nkwanta Presbytery Conference begins.

The Nkwanta Presbytery of the Global Evangelical Church, Ghana has begun their Presbytery Conference . 
The Conference which is the highest decision making body of the presbytery has kicked of yesterday at Global Evangelical Church, Redemption Chapel, Nkwanta under the rulership of the Presbytery chairman: Rev. Israel k. Ahalie.
The Conference which is a four day program seeks to make decisions and resolutions in the Presbytery.

Addressing the Conference today, the  Moderator of the Church, Rt. Rev. Prosper S. Dzomeku, laments about the mission and church planting mandate of late in the church has reduced drastically.

He noted that some years back, a few pastors within four years church planted 255 new churches with only a few pastors then but in the last six years with many pastors the church planted less than 60 churches.
He further encouraged the pastors, evangelists and church workers to take church planting and mission seriously.
Also present was, The former presbytery chairman for Tamale presbytery (REV. M. E. K. Buamah Rtd., who also admonished leaders do the work as if they are doing it for their father and that it is only their father in heaven that can reward them for the work they are doing.
