EPUC-Ho ALUMNI HOMECOMING AND CONGRESS SLATED FOR THIS WEEKEND

The Alumni of the Evangelical Presbyterian University College (EPUC)- Ho has scheduled their maiden Homecoming and congress for Saturday, August 13, 2022 at their sub campus (Ho Kpodzi) at 9am.
The theme for the congress, ‘Sustaining and expanding private universities in Ghana amidst global challenges, the Role of Alumni as a key Stakeholder’ seeks to bring all Alumni together, to join hands with management of the University to formulate strategies to put EPUC on the World map.
The Volta Regional Minister Hon Dr Archibald Yao Letsa, is the guest of honor at the Congress, which will also see promulgation of Constitution for the Alumni as well as Electing New Executives.
Togbe Atatsi V, Miamefia of the Leklebi Traditional Area and Dufia of Leklebi Kame, who is an Alumnus, will Chair the congress which also has Rev Dr. Israel Nyarko is a guest speaker.
With a number of activities lined up for the weekend, current students of the premier university are all invited for a massive float scheduled for Friday, August 12 at 4pm through the principal streets of the Ho Municipality.
The President of the Institution, Prof Edem Kwasi Bakah, among other staff are expected to join in the float to further market the university college to the people.
The float will be followed by borborbor night at 7pm at the main campus.
It is going to be a memorable weekend for the ‘Knowledge is Light’ mentees, with the likes of JJ Kotoka, Kwame Afriyie (SRC President, 2010/11 year) and Philip Agamah, ‘Kostita’ (SRC Entercom Chair, 2010/11), all representing.
All are invited to be part of this history making celebration.
