Volo Community hails Compassion International Ghana for Educational Support.

The Volo E.P Child and Youth Development Centre has distributed 140 dual desks for students and 10 tables and chairs for teachers in the Volo Circuit in the Volta Region.
Enhancing Learning Environments, Project director Miss Delight Atuwo said, the donation aims to provide comfortable and supportive learning environments for both students and teachers.
Miss Delight continues the initiative as part of the Centre's commitment to promote holistic child and youth development, ensuring every child has access to vital education.
She expressed gratitude to Compassion International Ghana, Partnership Facilitator Mr. Richard Baku, Project Pastor, and workers of Volo E.P Child and Youth Development Centre for their guidance and significant contributions to the initiative.
Empowering Education, Mad Delight said this donation marks a significant step towards improving educational outcomes in the Volo Circuit, empowering students and teachers to thrive.
Schools benefited are Volo E.P Primary School, Volo D\A J.H.S, Afaode D\A Primary School, Afaode-Gborkpo D\A J.H.S, Kpekpo-Horme D\A JHS, Korsive D\A Primary School, Morkplikpo D\A Primary and Volo D\A R.C Basic School
At the furniture distribution ceremony, the Acting Girl's Education Officer represented the District Director of Education, Mrs. Isabella Regina Ayimey, and expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Centre for empowering vulnerable children and youth through comprehensive educational support, skill development, and psycho-social care. The furniture donation alleviates a major challenge faced by the District, enabling learners to explore their potential, develop talents, and gain the necessary skills for healthy, successful, and meaningful lives.
Torgbe Sipitey IV urged teachers and students to utilize the donated furniture wisely, emphasizing the importance of supervision to prevent damage.
He seized the opportunity to appeal to Ghana Education Service, NGO, and the general public for assistance in renovating the aging school infrastructure, particularly, Volo Junior High School and
Volo Primary School.
The Chief highlighted the urgent need for renovations, citing cracked buildings and outdated facilities.
We appreciate Compassion International Ghana's efforts in enhancing education. We urge all stakeholders to join hands in providing conducive learning environments for our children.
This appeal aims to mobilize support for improving the educational infrastructure in Volo.
