Oti Region: Regional Minister opens training on 2025 procurement law amendments and GHANEPS

The Oti Regional Minister, Hon. John Kwadwo Gyapong, has officially opened a regional training session on the 2025 Public Procurement Law Amendments and the Ghana Electronic Procurement System (GHANEPS) at the ORCC Conference Hall in Dambai.
The session brought together Municipal and District Coordinating Directors, Heads of Departments, and procurement officers from across the region. The new reforms and the full adoption of GHANEPS represent a major step toward improving transparency, accountability, and efficiency in public procurement.
Addressing participants, Hon. Gyapong underscored the importance of understanding the updated procurement framework, emphasizing that effective procurement remains key to timely project delivery in areas such as infrastructure, health, education, and agriculture. He noted that “when our systems work better, development moves faster, and citizens gain better value for every cedi spent.”
He encouraged all participants to take full advantage of the training, stressing that strong procurement systems are vital to the progress of the growing Oti Region.
