Krachi East kicks off Peace Cup 2025 with community clean-up exercise

As part of activities to usher in the Krachi East Municipality Peace Cup 2025, Zack’s Sports, in collaboration with the Krachi East Municipal Assembly, on Saturday, 20th December 2025, organized a community clean-up exercise to promote sanitation, unity, and community spirit.

The exercise, held in the morning, covered the stretch from the new Police Station to the Municipal Assembly Office, and saw the active participation of volunteers and residents who came together with a shared commitment to keeping the municipality clean ahead of the much-anticipated tournament.

Addressing participants, the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Safo Nketia, expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the volunteers for their dedication and sacrifice. He also commended individuals and stakeholders who have contributed towards the success of the Peace Cup 2025.

Hon. Safo Nketia reaffirmed his commitment to advancing development in all sectors of the municipality and encouraged investors and well-meaning Ghanaians to explore opportunities within the Krachi East Municipality, describing the area as ripe for growth and development.

The clean-up exercise set a positive tone for the Peace Cup, underscoring the tournament’s core values of peace, unity, and community development.
