HON. NELSON KOFI DJABAB GRACES MAIDEN QUR'AN RECITATION COMPETITION IN KRACHI EAST

The Member of Parliament for the Krachi East Constituency, Hon. Nelson Kofi Djabab, attended the maiden edition of a Qur'an Recitation Competition organized by the Hassan Charitable Foundation, led by its Chief Executive Officer, Hon. Alhassan Abubakar.

The event brought together young Islamic learners to showcase their knowledge and understanding of the Holy Qur'an. The foundation, known for its commitment to community development, has undertaken several initiatives including educational support, donations to the less privileged, borehole construction, and classroom infrastructure projects.

Speaking to the media, Hon. Djabab commended the foundation for creating a platform that promotes Islamic education while nurturing the talents of young Muslims. He noted that the competition serves as a valuable avenue for encouraging participants to deepen their understanding of the Qur'an and strengthen their faith.

The MP expressed admiration for the confidence and excellence displayed by the contestants and described the event as a remarkable success. He further emphasized that such initiatives contribute significantly to the educational and moral development of the youth.

Hon. Djabab encouraged young Muslims to dedicate themselves to studying and understanding the teachings of the Holy Qur'an, stressing that knowledge of the word of Allah is essential to personal growth and religious excellence. He also expressed confidence that future editions of the competition would attract even greater participation and impact.

The organizers reaffirmed their commitment to sustaining the programme and expanding its reach as part of efforts to promote Islamic values and community development across the constituency.
